Accessibility Visiting the MIA

wheelchair_iconThe Museum of Inuit Art encourages the widest possible access to the collections entrusted to its care. All entrances to the Queen’s Quay Terminal Building (where the MIA is located) and the museum itself are wheelchair-accessible.

Support persons

Support persons accompanying visitors with disabilities are entitled to complimentary admission.

Service animals

Service animals are welcome to accompany visitors with disabilities throughout all public areas of the museum.

Large-print publications

Large-print publications are available from MIA’s front desk upon request.

Assistive devices

All persons with disabilities are permitted to use their own assistive devices at all times within the museum.
